We’re now less than three weeks away from the 2007 Canadian Farm Writers Federation (CFWF) annual conference, and the conference committee has kicked into high gear. Not that we weren’t working hard before, but now the clock is ticking!

Registrations are continuing to come in and we are expecting an excellent turnout as we bring Canada’s farm journalists and agricultural communicators to the hidden gem that is the beautiful Quinte Region.

The sudden demand for hotel rooms caused some tense moments – and gave the defacto guest services desk (aka me!) a new appreciation for the work that travel agents and accommodations co-ordinators do. But we’ve managed to find space for everyone and even have some extra rooms still available, so for the moment, the pressure is off.
