The posts have been a bit sparse lately – I’d been spending time getting ready to go away for a week of holidays. As anyone who’s been through that knows, that can be time-consuming!
And now I am on holidays, spending a week in Arizona. It’s hot and dry here by any circumstances, but especially compared to the wet summer we’ve been having in Ontario.
I’ll be posting new material once I’m back at work. And after Labour Day, I will begin providing articles, comment and photos of the 2008 International Federation of Agriculture Journalists conference, starting with a pre-tour in Slovakia on September 7. It will be food, it will be farming – and although it won’t be Canada, I’m sure there will be fascinating things for us to learn!
Now it’s off to explore US military history here in Tucson.
